Dottie
5 month
Female
English Spot Rabbit

Dottie is a gorgeous English Spot mix with a very sweet disposition. She's probably pretty young and she's certainly active, curious and friendly. Like all rabbits she will need adequate living space, daily supervised romps around the house, and daily attention to address both her physical and mental activity needs. Dottie is an appropriate rabbit for children, but as always interactions should be supervised for the safety of both child and rabbit. Talk with your adoption counselor about specific care. Dottie is an exceptionally lovely rabbit who will make a loving pet for years to come.

Popeye
Ball Python

Popeye is a three year old Ball Python who came to MHS when his guardians could no longer care for him. He is young for his species which can live well into (and past) their twenties- and still has some growing to do! He will need a large well-heated enclosure with areas to hide and climb. Make sure to elevate the humidity during shedding periods and keep his bedding clean. If you have some reptile experience and are willing to make the commitment, consider Popeye!

Roxy
Young Adult
Spayed Female
Chinchilla Rabbit

Roxy is such a love and really open to petting and love. She's shy and easily startled, but once she trust's you she calms down and wants attention. The best home for her would be a quiet one and a family with a steady routine. Roxy is pretty easy to pick-up, although she's still getting used to it. She is very mellow and likes to just hang out, specifically under a wicker A-Frame structure. She will appreciate a few hours outside her enclosure every day to burn off energy and to kick up their feet! A long hallway or a room they haven't been in before will do the trick. Come and meet Roxy and see if you are a good match for her!!

Pebbles
Young Adult
Female
Lop Eared Rabbit

Pebbles is a nice bunny who doesn't mind being picked-up, but only when doing so in a gentle manner. She will show you her sweet nature when she sits by your side, enjoying plenty of petting and soft spoken words. She is fairly tolerant of having her nails trimmed too (a huge plus). Pebbles appears to be a young bunny, although it is impossible to know for sure her real age. Well cared for house rabbits can live 10-12 years, so Pebbles adoption is a significant commitment. To ensure Pebbles happiness she'd like to live in a large enclosure, with room to stretch out and toys to play with. In addition to her roomy lifestyle, Pebbles will benefit from daily forays into other parts of the house, provided she has supervision and her haunts are bunny-proofed. She can eat unlimited amounts of Timothy or Orchard Grass hay. As with any adoption pet you'll want to take your time getting to know her. Take it slowly and build her trust. she's already a friendly girl. With lots of love and time spent she'll be your best bunny friend ever!!

Confetti
Young Adult
Female
Netherland Dwarf Rabbit

Who's ready for a party? Confetti is! This playful Netherland Dwarf mix is sweet and tolerant and looking for a new home with room to frolic. She is a busy girl who will need a lot of activities to occupy her (cardboard boxes to shred are a favorite) but she also enjoys her quiet time and gentle petting. Confetti will need a very large cage to act as "home base" plus additional space for exercise. She should never be housed outdoors or left outside unattended, only supervised play in a safe and secure area. Rabbits have other important care needs so make sure to do your research before making the decision to add a bunny to your family. Bringing Confetti home will surely be a celebration.

Dylan
Adult
Male
Domestic Rabbit

Poor Dylan, white rabbits with pink eyes are frequently overlooked due to their coloration, but they are often the friendliest! And Dylan is no exception- he is sweet, calm, friendly and tolerant. He loves being petted and will sit happily in your lap for a gentle ear massage. Dylan will need a very large cage to act as "home base" plus additional space for exercise. He should never be housed outdoors or left outside unattended. Rabbits have other important care needs, so make sure to do your research before making the decision to adopt a bunny. Rabbits are a long term commitment, but if you are ready you should take a chance on Dylan - you will be glad you did!

Shila
Adult
Female
Domestic Rabbits

Shila and Sophie are very sweet sisters who came in together and while we had to temporarily separate them due to space, they would love to be adopted together. Good news for you too since bunnies with friends are generally happier than those without. These sisters were raised in a classroom so they they are used to activity and the presence of children but of course they still prefer calm, quiet exchanges with people. These girls are very active, curious and friendly, and should adjust well to a reasonably busy household. Like all rabbits these girls will need a large living space in addition to daily supervised romps around the house. Talk with your adoption counselor about specific care. These wonderful bunnies and will make great family companions.

Amos
Adult
Male
Domestic Rabbit

This handsomely-marked rabbit is Amos. We do not know much about his past, but he appears to be a young fellow with a lot of energy and a bright personality. He is certainly not fond of being picked up, but is social and outgoing and likes to hang out with you on his own terms. As he settles in to his new home, a much stronger bond will form between him and his family and he will seek out more and more human attention and affection. Rabbits have lots of important care needs so make sure to do your research before making the decision to add a bunny to your family. Rabbits are a long term commitment, but take a chance on Amos and we are sure you will become the best of friends.

Anderson
2 year old
Male
Domestic Rabbit

Anderson is a precious 2 year old English Spotted mix bunny who had a rough start in life and is therefore in need of much patience and plenty of love. He is not too keen on being picked up but would love to engage in some time with you while being petted. He is also OK with being brushed and does allow to have his nails trimmed (a huge plus). Keep him well-supplied with interesting toys and things to chew on. It's also important to allow him some time roaming about by giving him an area of the house that is bunny-proofed so he is able to burn off energy, stretch and kick up his feet. Keep in mind that if properly cared for, rabbits can live to be 10-12 years old. That's a big commitment for a family to make, and not one to be taken lightly. Anderson is surely worthy of such love.

Jumma
4 year old
Carpet Python

This jewel of a snake is Jumma, an Iryan Jaya Carpet Python. Like all reptiles, Jumma will need very specific housing, heating, humidity and feeding so please do your research on this species before choosing to adopt. Snakes live a very long time, so make sure you are ready for the commitment too! Please speak with one of our reptile caretakers for more details about the lovely Jumma!

Fiona
Young Adult
Female
Dutch Rabbit

Pretty Fiona with her soft brown eyes must have been someone’s best friend- her coat is luxurious and she seems used to being handled. Or perhaps it's just her lovely nature, or both! Either way, she has found herself here and is now looking for a permanent home who will love her as much as we do. Fiona can be a little unsure at first, but once she settles in she enjoys exploring and will approach you for pets. Rabbits have lots of important care needs so make sure to do your research before making the decision to add a bunny to your family. Rabbits are a long term commitment, but Fiona promises to be a fun, interactive part of your family should you choose to bring her home.

Hawaii & Kentucky
2 month old
Female
Rat

Hawaii and her sister Kentucky were fortunate to be born into a rat-savvy home who took great care of them and socialized them well. They are still a bit wiggly when being handled, but they love to come forward and visit when you open their cage. With more attention they will learn to love hanging out with their human companions. Rats are extremely social and do best when living with other rats, so we would love for these two to go home together. Rats are very smart and active, so daily play outside of their cage is important. These young ladies are ready to find a home of their own.

Lacey
Adult
Female
Cockatiel

Lacey was found stray and is now looking for a more permanent home. Lacey is vocal and extremely social, so she would love someone who is home frequently and who can spend a lot of time with her. Lacey will require a large enclosure kept in well-lit area. Make sure she has an assortment of perches as well as toys that are rotated periodically to keep them interesting. Lacey will need to have her wings and nails trimmed on a regular basis and yearly vet check-ups are always a good idea. Birds are noisy critters so take that into account if you like a quiet home or live in an apartment complex. Are you hoping to find your next best birdie buddy? Consider Lacey!
