Wooly Bully
Adult
Neutered Male
Jersey Wooly Rabbit

Wooly is a sweet rabbit, but also very independent. He's not the type of rabbit to come up to you and ask for petting.  If he's in the mood for petting he'll sit still for it. But, that can be a good thing if someone is looking for a rabbit that's not too needy. One thing he definitely needs is space inside to run around in. He was living in an area that consisted of two x-pens hooked together.  And even that wasn't enough!  Ideally his new family will have several rooms for him to roam or a long hallway. He'll need at least 2 hours outside of it to really tire himself out. Daily petting will keep him social too.  Wooly Bully is really a unique rabbit ... ask to meet him and you'll see what we mean!

Stan
2-year-old
Neutered Male
American Rabbit

Handsome young Stan was brought in because his first guardian found she didn't have enough time for him. Rabbits do require quite a bit of time if properly cared for and loved.  And Stan is definitely a rabbit that will need some time. He's very energetic, curious and enjoys attention via petting.  Like most rabbits he's not really keen on being held. He'll tolerate it for just a minute or two and then let you know when's he done with that! He's easy to pick-up which is another nice trait about him.  Ask to meet this exceptional bunny and we are sure you'll fall for him like we have!

Baxter
Adult
Neutered Male
Harlequin Rabbit

This very handsome young rabbit is waiting patiently for a family that will be patient with him.  Baxter is a bit shy, but we feel he will warm up fairly quickly if given time to. His new family should go nice and slow with him. Already we are seeing what a sweetheart he is and we know there's a lot more to this guy. In Rabbit Romper Room he was very busy exploring, running around, chewing on his wicker tunnel and overall just having fun!  He was very curious whenever anyone came into his x-pen and quickly ran over to say "hello". His hello was very brief but he kept coming back to say "hello" over and over again. He's very easy to pick-up and doesn't mind being held for short periods of time (unusual for a rabbit). Ask to meet this very interesting looking and sweet bun.  We are sure you'll fall in love with him!

Marie
Young Adult
Spayed Female
California Rabbit

Marie is a very nice young bunny who came to us through the Save A Bunny program. She seems to have had some very positive contact with people. Even though she is shy when she first meets you, she enjoys petting, is calm and relaxed in the company of people and is easy to pick up and hold. Naturally, she would like a very long courtship where her human companion spends a lot of time just talking to her, petting, brushing and "getting to know you." The more time you invest with Marie up front the more trusting she will be!

Lucinda
Young Adult
Spayed Female
Lop Eared Rabbit

Lucinda is a lovely and gentle rabbit who was found stray in Mill Valley. It is difficult to say how old Lucinda is or what her prior experience, but it's almost assured that she has known and liked people. She enjoys petting and is an unusually easy rabbit to pick up. She's also extremely curious, likes to sniff everything and climb up on her hind legs to explore. She also likes to nudge her plastic ball, so she's easy to amuse.

If you like easy-going entertaining bunnies, Lucinda is just the girl for you!

Nike
Young Adult
Neutered Male
Dutch Rabbit

Nike enjoyed life with a very nice family that included two cats and a Great Dane puppy. Unfortunately, even though Nike held his own with even the most dominant cat, it was determined that he could not be kept safe from the puppy and so he finds himself back here. Nike likes being petted, loves grooming, he's calm, friendly and social. He also has a history of being wonderful with kids and he likes to lick people. Remember, if you treat him right, keep him indoors and provide him with regular vet care, Nike could live to be 10 or 12 years old.

Pogo
Young Adult
Neutered Male
California Rabbit

What a little cutie Pogo is! He is going to charm everyone that meets him. Young and active, this bun will need some running space to burn off some energy.  He's easy to pet and once settled in a new home, we think he will stick around for it a lot more. Pogo, like most rabbits, isn't thrilled with being picked-up. But, if his new family does it regularly for short periods of time we are sure he'll get more used to it. Pogo would be fine as a first rabbit.  We strongly recommend older, calm children just because he really can struggle when held to long. This may be hard for young children to understand.  Ask to meet this frisky young bun. His soft fur and cute personality are very hard to resist!

Corwin
Young Adult
Neutered Male
Domestic Rabbit

Sweet little Corwin is ready for a loving family that will keep him forever!  This young bun is a little shy right now, but warms up quickly to people.  He's also very tidy which is a nice trait for a bunny to have.  Like most rabbits he's comfortable being held for short periods of time.  And, he's not too thrilled getting his nails trimmed.  But with patience by his new family he should get used to that over time.  Corwin was found roaming the streets of San Rafael... not the best life for a domestic rabbit!  Corwin, with proper care, could live to be 10-12 years old.  That's a big commitment for any family to make, but worth it!

Prince
Adult
Neutered Male
Domestic Rabbit

Poor Prince ... he was dumped at Indian Valley College with purple paint (or ink) on him.  Being a domestic rabbit he probably would not have survived for very long.  Fortunately a concerned citizen saw this and was able to pick him up and bring him here.  Now we are hoping that he finds a family soon that will keep him safe and give him lots of love.

Prince is definitely an  energetic bunny!  He really enjoyed running around and exploring toys in our Rabbit Romper Room.  This is a rabbit who will not be happy at all living in a cage.  The best set-up for him would be at least one x-pen, preferably two!  And, like all rabbits, he'll need time outside of it for more running and exploring.  Ask to meet Prince and we are sure that even with his color flaws you'll love him!  (In time, the purple should fade from his fur.)

Donny
Adult
Neutered Male
California Rabbit

Donny is one soft bunny! His fine, fine fur is a pleasure to stroke, which is okay with Donny. He enjoys petting, particularly a soft caress on the side of his face. He's still very shy (very bunny-like) but he’s a gentle bunny, so he might do well with children who are patient and can take a long time forming a relationship. Donny is so sweet you'll really enjoy his quiet manner. Take your time, Grasshopper; this boy is worth the investment.

Charlotte
5-month-old
Spayed Female
Domestic Rabbit

Beautiful, sweet Charlotte was brought here by her first family when they realized that this was a gift they really didn't want.  A friend of theirs had a rabbit that gave birth (hopefully they have spayed her by now) and they received one of her babies as a gift.  A good lesson for anyone thinking that an animal might be a welcomed gift!  So now Charlotte is looking for a new family that will properly care for her and keep her forever.  Keep in mind that rabbits can live to be 10-12 years old.  She's an incredibly gentle rabbit that was very calm and easy to handle during her nail trim and combing.  She's very easy to pick up and doesn't mind being held ... a real rarity for rabbits!  Charlotte, because of her easy going nature, would be a good "first rabbit" for someone.  Ask to meet this sweetheart.  You'll fall in love with her in a short period of time.

T.J.
Young Adult
Neutered Male
Domestic Rabbit

T.J. is soooooo darn cute!  He's sure to make everyone fall in love with him. But he's not exactly the perfect rabbit ... yet! He's very easy to pick-up, but definitely does not like to be held or even to be placed on a lap for petting - this is quite typical of rabbits.  His favorite spot is safely on the ground. He'll frequently hop over for some attention and petting (which he enjoys).

He really enjoyed Rabbit Romper Room with numerous toys to play with, space to run in and a fun wooden hiding box to hide in.  His new family should make sure they have lots of space for this young bun - he'll need time outside of his enclosure to explore and run safely inside. While T.J. is outgoing, we don't recommend him for small children because of his size and intolerance to being held.  It's hard enough for adults to not pick up rabbits, let alone small children who don't understand how fragile they are.  Ask to meet young T.J.  Once you pet this adorable guy you'll want to adopt him for sure!
