The Marin Humane Society is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization — Federal Tax ID 94 -1156562. Our animal adoption, rehabilitation and outreach programs are supported by contributions, grants and bequests for program continuation and expansion. All contributions, including vehicle donations, are tax deductible as allowed by law.
The Marin Humane Society is a local, independent organization that does not receive operating funds from national organizations such as the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

In addition, the entire park itself, as well as the bridge may be named for you, a loved one or your beloved animal at additional major sponsor levels.

Your used care is their ride home! Are you thinking of selling or trading in your old car? Why not donate your vehicle to the Marin Humane Society. Your charitable donation can make a big difference for the animals at MHS.

MHS THRIFT SHOP
The MHS Auxiliary Thrift Shop is the only remaining thrift shop in San Anselmo and one of very few in Marin County. This is due, in large part, to the skill and commitment of the volunteers who for nearly 50 years have been turning donated treasures into cash that benefits the MHS Spay and Neuter Clinic.
Shop at or donate your unwanted jewelry, books, CDs, DVDs, knick knacks, etc. to the MHS Thrift Shop located at 360 San Anselmo Avenue in San Anselmo. For more information, call 415.459.5787.
DONATE YOUR USED BOOKS
By participating in books sales throughout the year, the Marin Humane Society is able to turn your used books into much needed resources for the shelter animals. Please donate your books, DVDs, CDs and books on tape (in good condition and less than 10 years old), and make a difference in the life of an animal in need.
