The Golden Gate National Recreation Area has released a draft plan to greatly limit dog walking. If the plan is enacted, off-leash dog walking will be prohibited in some areas, including Homestead Valley and parts of the Marin Headlands, and dogs will be banned entirely in other places, such as Muir Beach and South Rodeo Beach.
