Sam’s Anchor Cafe 16th Annual Golf Classic to benefit Marin Humane Society
(NOVATO, CALIF., May 4, 2005) Tee off with Sam’s Anchor Cafe Thursday, June 23, 2005, 1 pm, at the Stone Tree Golf Club (9 Stone Tree Lane, Novato), and enjoy a spectacular day of golfing, delicious food, fun raffle prizes and more all to benefit the Marin Humane Society’s SHARE (Special Human-Animal Relationships) Program.
The $200 per person entry fee includes a special starting kit, lunch, cart and an awards banquet. Participants will also enjoy a silent and live auction as well as exciting raffle prizes and a Hole-in-One chance to win a brand new 2005 Mustang from Novato Ford.
Other exciting prizes include a Hole-in-One chance to win a Beringer-Blass Wine Cellar ($1,500 value); a lodging, golf and dinner package from Wente Vineyards; a day at Angel Island for four, including ferry, lunch and bikes; a Tiburon Getaway for two, including lodging at Waters Edge Hotel, dinner at Sam’s Cafe and breakfast at Sweden House; fantastic bottles of wine; and much more. Golfers can put their best putt forward using the two best balls of four format. The number of players is limited and early registration is encouraged to ensure a reservation. This event has sold out in recent years.
The SHARE Program offers pet care assistance to low-income seniors, animal-assisted therapy visits to those who can no longer have pets, a pet meals-on-wheels program, special adoptions and unique dog training classes all with the goal of keeping people and companion animals together.
