Brush Up On Bunny Basics At The Marin Humane Society

A free, hands-on introduction to rabbit care and handling

(NOVATO, CALIF., March 30, 2005)- “Bunny Basics,” an introduction to rabbit care and handling, will be held Saturday, April 8 from 10 am–noon at the Marin Humane Society (171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato). This free workshop is perfect for potential adopters or those who want to learn more about their resident bunny. 

Marcy Schaff of the House Rabbit Society will lead an introduction to basic rabbit care, behavior and handling. She will instruct how to properly lift and handle rabbits, health issues to watch for, and other general tips for living safely and happily with a rabbit. House Rabbit Society foster bunnies will be available for handling demonstrations; participants are asked to leave their own animals at home.
