Animal Chronicles
Animal Chronicles is a fun, practical and information-packed community newspaper about animals and the people who love them. Published twice a year, Animal Chronicles reaches nearly 50,000 Marin and Sonoma County animal enthusiasts. The publication helps inform people about the Marin Humane Society's efforts offer refuge, rehabilitation, and support services to more than 10,000 domestic animals and wildlife each year.
Animal Chronicles is mailed to 30,000 animal-friendly households. An additional 15,000 copies are distributed in bulk to more than 250 animal service providers, cafes, newsstands, doctors’ offices and retailers throughout Marin and Sonoma Counties. The publication is mailed to:
- Every Marin residence with a licensed dog or cat
- Every Marin household with a microchipped pet
- Every participant in MHS dog training classes
- Every household who has donated to MHS over the past five years
- Every household who has adopted from MHS in the past five years
