Marin Humane Society Hosts Holiday Vegetarian Cooking Class
Learn simple and seasonal recipes from Compassionate Cooks
(NOVATO, CALIF., November 3, 2006) - Sample tasty vegetarian foods and learn simple, seasonal recipes at the Compassionate Cooks cooking class Thursday, November 30 from 6:30 - 8:30pm at the Marin Humane Society (171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato). Using local, seasonal, organic ingredients, Chef Colleen Patrick-Goudreau will demonstrate uncomplicated, plant-based recipes and share yummy food samples.
Compassionate Cooks' demonstration cooking classes empower people to make informed food choices and debunk myths about vegetarianism. “Our tasty and easy-to-make recipes shatter the myth that ‘healthful’ and ‘delicious’ are incompatible, and inspire people to cook wholesome meals at home using locally grown and seasonal ingredients,” says Chef Patrick-Goudreau.
