Hundreds of Marin's less fortunate pets await special holiday delivery
Marin Humane Society welcomes donations for pets of people-in-need
(NOVATO, CALIF., November 21, 2007) - This holiday season, you can make a difference for Marin’s less fortunate dogs and cats by donating pet food, toys and supplies to the Marin Humane Society. From balls and bowls to stuffed toys and animal edibles, each gift will be used to fill gift baskets for the pets of people-in-need. Financial contributions are also welcome and will be used to purchase additional gift items. Donations may be delivered November 26 through December 17 to the Marin Humane Society, located at 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato.
Teen volunteers will wrap the holiday gifts on December 19. Then, all gift baskets will be delivered on December 20 to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, Ritter Center, Canal Alliance, Salvation Army and Novato Human Needs Center for distribution to more than 300 clients with pets.
