Compassionate Cooks chef teaches 'fast and fabulous' vegetarian meals at the Marin Humane Society

(NOVATO, CALIF., January 12, 2007) - Sample tasty vegetarian foods and learn fast and fabulous vegetarian recipes at Demystifying Tofu & Tempeh, a Compassionate Cooks cooking class Thursday, February 15 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Marin Humane Society (171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato). Focusing on the often-misunderstood foods tofu and tempeh, Chef Colleen Patrick-Goudreau will demonstrate simple, seasonal recipes and share yummy food samples.

Compassionate Cooks' demonstration cooking classes empower people to make informed food choices and debunk myths about vegetarianism. “Our tasty and easy-to-make recipes shatter the myth that ‘healthful’ and ‘delicious’ are incompatible, and inspire people to cook wholesome meals at home using locally grown and seasonal ingredients,” says Patrick-Goudreau.
