Compassionate Cooks dish out 'fast and fabulous' vegetarian meals at the Marin Humane Society

(NOVATO, CALIF., June 11, 2007) - Sample tasty vegetarian foods and learn fast and fabulous meat-free recipes at the Compassionate Cooks cooking class on Thursday, June 21 from 6:30 8:30 p.m. at the Marin Humane Society (171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato). Chef Colleen Patrick-Goudreau will demonstrate simple, seasonal recipes, perfect for summer picnics and backyard barbecues. She’ll also share yummy food samples!
Compassionate Cooks' demonstration cooking classes empower people to make informed food choices and debunk myths about vegetarianism. “Our tasty and easy-to-make recipes shatter the myth that ‘healthful’ and ‘delicious’ are incompatible, and inspire people to cook wholesome meals at home using locally grown and seasonal ingredients,” says Patrick-Goudreau.
