Shelter Tours

What better way to wrap up your study of pet care than a visit to the Marin Humane Society? A tour lasts approximately one hour and includes a presentation on responsible pet care and the functions of the humane society, as well as a walk through our shelter. Students will meet a variety of animals and hear true-life stories of how they came to be here. Tours are given Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Email our Education Department or call (415) 506-6288 to schedule your tour. An informational brochure will be sent providing you with tour guidelines, description and pre- and post-tour activity suggestions to both prepare your group and follow up your visit.

Fee: We suggest a $1 per student donation for all shelter tour programs.
