Excerpts from Gabby's Pen Pal Diary

Date: 5/16/05

Gabby's first day! We worked on crate training, walking on leash, stairs and exercised in the yard. Gabby whines a little when she's alone. She greets all that stop by to visit and enjoys lunch meat and cream cheese. I put her on leash and tie down in our room and she lay comfortably on the floor. When I stepped out I came back to find her lying on my bed! She's great.

Gabby is doing really well with greeting other people and likes to play with some of the other dogs until they get in her face or try to dominate. We worked on with come, wait, touch, look at me and crate training. Gabby would be great with kids and older dogs.

Date: 5/24/05

Had training today and worked on sit, down and stay. Gabby did really well and gave a great effort. Gabby is just very lovable and a good tempered dog. She sure enjoys her cheese treats and works very hard for them. She does well with other dogs but does not like being jumped on. A very good day for Gabby.

What's left to say! Gabby will be an excellent addition to her new family. We're going over her graduation speech for tomorrow.
