Cocoa

Excerpts from Cocoa's Pen Pal Diary

Date: 2/28/07

Cocoa gets along with everyone here. Very friendly. Needs to work on jumping up. Does not go willingly in crate but once in she gets comfortable and seems content. Eats can food, does not touch dry. Overall, she did well her first day.

Cocoa has made her home in my room. She has settled and become comfortable quickly. She has not problem taking medication. I put it in with her canned food and she eats it right down. She welcomes people, officers and inmates alike. She has never growled at anyone. She still cares nothing for toys or balls. She's much too mature.

Cocoa is doing fine at her vacation home. She's relaxing and receiving tons of love. I've kept her training sessions brief. She sits perfectly but I've had trouble getting her to lay down. She is a great low maintenance companion. She is very senstitive to human emotions. Example: She was dozing off when a woman began crying on TV. She jumped up, ears erect looking to help.

She has been waking me up by licking my hand. She is lying down much better, still needs treats. Played well with Kramer. Play lasts for about 5 minutes.
