Suds-sational Dog Wash benefits animal victims of Asian tsunami

Marin Humane Society’s Roots & Shoots teens lather ’em up!

(NOVATO, CALIF., March 8, 2005) — The Marin Humane Society’s teen community service club, Roots and Shoots, will hold a dog wash on the Whittel Education Building Patio of the Marin Humane Society campus (171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato) Saturday, March 19, from 11 am–1 pm.

Let these dynamic, young volunteers get your dog squeaky clean and looking good. Suggested donation is $10 per dog and all proceeds will benefit the Soi Dog Foundation of Thailand and the Blue Cross of India, both animal welfare groups working to protect the lives of animals injured or orphaned by the tsunami.
