The Yuen Method
Alternative Healing for Your Pets
(NOVATO, CALIF., April 12, 2005) — The Marin Humane Society will host a free presentation and demonstration of an alternative medicine practice known as the Yuen Method for Animal Healing Saturday, April 24 from noon–2 pm in the shelter auditorium (171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato).
Founder Dr. Kam Yuen originated the non-touch Yuen Method during his many years as a 35th generation Grandmaster of Shaolin martial and healing arts. His approach has evolved from ancient Chinese energetic medicine, which dates back thousands of years. Drawing from applied physiology, psychology, biochemistry, biomechanics and quantum physics, this energetic healing method focuses on resolving weaknesses in the body that cause pain.
Giving the demonstration will be Bay Area practitioner and founder of Energetic Solutionz, Cheryl Andersen. “Pain is usually caused by multiple problems and the process of healing is much like peeling the layers of an onion.” Andersen has been practicing the Yuen Method since 2001, is certified in several other alternative medicine practices, and has a track record of success in working with both people and animals.
