"Paws" to Help the Pets of People-in-Need this Holiday Season
MHS welcomes donations for less fortunate pets
(NOVATO, CALIF., November 15, 2006) - Make homeless and disadvantaged pets happy this holiday season by donating pet food, toys and supplies to the Marin Humane Society. From balls and bowls to stuffed toys and animal edibles, each gift will be used to fill gift baskets for pets of people-in-need. Financial contributions are aso welcome and will be used to purchase additional gift items. Donations may be delivered now through December 11 to the Marin Humane Society, located at 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato.
Teen volunteers will wrap the holiday gifts on December 13. Then, all gift baskets will be delivered on December 14 to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, Ritter House, Canal Community Alliance, Salvation Army and Novato Human Needs Center for distribution to their clients with pets.
