Dog Parks & Campus Facilities

The Marin Humane Society is located on 7.5 acres in Marin County. The sprawling grounds have an established landscape with parks, walking spaces, fountains, and ample free parking. Our dog parks are available for public use during specified hours and a number of campus facilities, including the auditorium, classroom, conference room, pavilion and kitchen are available for community use.

MHS Dog Parks
We welcome you and your well-behaved canine companions to enjoy our dog parks during specified public-use hours, subject to the dog park rules.

Please note that we will occasionally reserve the dog parks during public hours for special events or maintenance. To preserve the integrity of the turf, we may close the parks during inclement weather. Typically we close the parks during and a few days following rain. Please check this page or call 415.506.6250 for up-to-date information regarding park closures.

Our dog parks are currently closed due to wet and muddy conditions.

Daily Public Use Hours
Sunrise to 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to Sunset
Note: parks are closed Friday mornings for maintenance

Please strictly respect these hours. During all other times, the parks are reserved for Marin Humane Society use.

Reserving the Dog Parks for Private Use
